The NIGH****CHMAN - Tuesday 9/22

Good afternoon all.  Another day begins.  Less than 72 hours until the clothing exchange at the OH Conference.  Looking forward to seeing a bunch of folks at 6PM Friday.

I want to apologize if I offended any Cowboy fans yesterday, but I will also say that will not change the way I feel.  I am a sports fan.  I like all sports (I love baseball).  In football, I have a team that I like (JETS) and a team that I dislike intensely (Cowboys).  I have family members that are Cowboy fans.  That does not mean I do not love them.

Not much else going on with me.  I watched all my CBS comedies from last night.  Tonight the CSI Miami is on my cell phone, so I get to watch it, NCIS, and NCIS Los Angeles.  I love having my night planned out for me.

Guess I better get on to work.

Just so you know folks, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Dana's sister Renee is recovering from two surgeries.  Her skin graft on her leg is healing slowly and now she is seeing a pain management doc for her problems associated with her jaw (updated 9/21).

Janet (1divaatheart) spouse recovering from kidney surgery.

Karen (Misty750342002) - Pray for her spouse as he as recovers from his eye surgery in an attempt to save his eyesight.

Other prayer requests:

Dana requested we add Susan T. and her son to the prayer list.  Justin had a visit to the oncologist today and actions are being pursued.

Dana's friend Rachel is 25 years old and pregnant.  She has a 2 1/2 year old daughter and found out about a month ago she has inflammatory breast cancer.  They are taking the baby in October (2 months early) and will do a double masectomy.

Debra - asks for prayer for Ramon who is in the hospital from his near drowning experience.

Debra also asks for prayers for a friend of mine, Yvonne's husband Kevin.  He is in the hospital.  That is all we know for now.

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house.

Jenn Ewald asks prayers that her financial situation improves so she does not lose her house.

Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days.  Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.

Sandi asks for prayers for her late coworker's (Renee) family, as died in a car accident this morning (9/15).

Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers for her family and for her and her spouse's health issues.

Vanessa also asked for a request for continued prayer for The Dunford Family and all of their friends, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and even all of the people that have never met Elizabeth or the Dunford's but have prayed for and/or have been affected by their story.  Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.

Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George I was a little bit disappointed with CSI:Miami last night.  I LOVE that show.  I would be interested in getting your opinion once you see it.  Maybe I was just so excited that it was a new show that I built it up too much in my mind.  My family also likes House and it was good last night.  Soemtimes I wish I had a little of his personality.LOL

CSI Miami last night was just as good as NCIS tonight.  Both were okay, but I am not a fan of going back and forth in time.  I also do not like shows about the past (CSI Miami basicly was just looking at when Eric joined up).

House - I used to like it.  It just gets so old, every week he finds another disease no one has ever heard of (after 3 or 4 wrong guesses) and then cures it.  Just like with 24.  He saves the world in one day, once a year.  No sleep at all.

Anyway, I did tape House because I am giving it another try this year, after only watching one episode last year.

NCIS Los Angeles was ok.  I like that old short lady that is in it.  She is funny in her own way.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I missed all of these, DD just doesn't like them, so I don'****ch them when she's here....  I'm just not a fan of all of the spin offs, now how can you beat Abby from the original NCIS, I just love her character, how could you ever duplictae that (I know I didn't see the NCIS LA, so I can't compare) just throwin' my 2 cents in....

I am different.  I love spinoffs, as long as they are done well.  All the Law and Orders are good.  All the CSI's are good, at least they were.  I do not like the original now because I do not feel Laurence Fishburne is a good fit.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

The CSI Miami wasn't the best episode I have ever seen. I asked John in the beginning how many time Eric was going to die in that show. BUT the end and the previews for next week left me thinking that they did the episode that way for a reason. I think it will tie together some things that are about to happen. And anyway... I love Horatio!!! lol John thinks he is annoying so I have to give him grief.

I also agree with you about Lawrence Fishburn but I will continue to watch that show too.

What was humorous was seeing the beginning of Horatio and his sunglasses.

I was disappointed in the original NCIS.  It was like a recap show for those who hadn't seen it before.  Seemed to spend too much time "introducing" each character.  But I did like the NCIS LA.  I think the 2 main characters have good chemistry and I'm like you, I love the little old lady.  Hopefully, it will continue to hold my interest.

Now that you bring that up, I wonder if it is because they are expecting a lot of new viewers due to a) popularity and b) leading into the new show with LL Cool.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Evening George,

First off, for me, no offense taken and no apologies needed.  I was poking fun at you and hope you took as such.  I would sure hate to lose a good friend over silliness.  Hoping to hug yours and Mary's necks Friday evening, along with a few others!  I am excited about the conference, I've never been to one and am really looking forward to it.

A little calmer day for me, but I still felt like I was peddling like crazy and not getting anywhere if that makes any sense..  I have a feeling the next few weeks will be interesting to say the least. Thankfully no headache today, so that made it an awesome day!

Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests.  Special prayers for those looking for work and those that are ill, or are hurting tonight for what ever reason.  May everyone be blessed with the peace that surpasses all understanding.  Blessings to all.

Avis
